2. Informational and advocacy purpose
This app provides general information, links to independent resources, private self-documentation tools, and an advocacy letter generator. It does not create an attorney-client, therapist-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, union-representation, or government-agency relationship.
3. Professional advice
The content is not a substitute for individualized legal, medical, mental-health, financial, tax, child-protection, or emergency advice. Laws, reporting duties, evidence-preservation requirements, limitation periods, and available services vary by jurisdiction and circumstance. Work directly with a qualified professional or responsible agency when those decisions matter.
4. Proposed status of Daveigh’s Law
The policy blueprint describes intended outcomes and areas for formal development. Daveigh’s Law has not been enacted and this app does not create current legal rights, duties, benefits, eligibility, or enforcement mechanisms.
5. Independent providers
Hotlines, unions, nonprofits, government services, websites, and other resources linked from the directory operate independently. Their availability, eligibility, confidentiality, reporting practices, accessibility, and terms may change. Confirm current details directly with the provider.
6. Private-vault limits
The vault is a local organizational tool. It does not file a report, notify law enforcement, transmit evidence, establish authenticity, create a legally recognized timestamp, or guarantee admissibility. Preserve original files and obtain jurisdiction-specific guidance when a record may be used in a legal, employment, benefits, insurance, or investigative process.
7. Passphrase and device security
You control the vault passphrase, device, backups, printouts, and exports. The app cannot recover a lost passphrase. Shared, managed, or monitored devices can create privacy risks beyond what browser encryption can address.
8. Accuracy and updates
The resource directory was reviewed against official sources on July 29, 2026. Information can change. A dated source-audit file is included with the deploy package so the campaign can review numbers and links routinely.
9. Respectful use
Use the app to seek support, organize your own information, learn about the proposal, and communicate lawful advocacy. Respect the privacy, safety, and legal rights of other people when recording, storing, printing, or sharing information.
