Support navigator and private plan
Your selected needs are used only in the current page. Resources you add to “My Plan” and the optional first-step note are stored in your browser using local storage. Daveigh's Law does not receive them. Browser local storage is not encrypted, so clear the plan when using a shared or monitored device.
Private incident record
Incident-record form entries remain in the page unless you export or deliberately save an encrypted copy in the browser vault. Selected files are read locally to calculate SHA-256 fingerprints; file contents are not uploaded or stored in the generated record.
The optional browser vault encrypts each saved record with AES-GCM using a key derived from the passphrase you enter. The passphrase is not stored and cannot be recovered. Record contents are encrypted, although the browser still retains limited vault metadata such as the encrypted item identifier and save time.
Browser storage is not a permanent backup. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers, or losing the device may erase saved records. Keep an exported copy in a location you control.
Legislative message builder
The advocacy tool creates a draft message on your device, copies it, and opens the official California representative finder. The website itself does not submit, transmit, or retain the message. Review and personalize the draft before sending it through an independent government contact form.
Third-party resources
Resource buttons may open independent websites, phone services, text services, email applications, or social platforms. Those providers maintain their own privacy practices, records, and terms.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
This release contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies. The service worker may cache public app files on the device so the interface can reopen more reliably.
Quick exit
On the main app, Quick exit clears the locally saved support plan and redirects to the configured neutral page. On the private-record page, Quick exit clears unsaved form content and the visible preview; encrypted vault records remain encrypted in browser storage. Quick exit cannot erase browser history, downloads, operating-system activity, cloud backups, monitoring software, or network logs.
Children and sensitive information
This release intentionally excludes accounts, community posting, live chat, case management, donations, and public story intake. Those functions require formal safeguarding, consent, retention, moderation, mandated-reporting, privacy, and security operations before activation.
